Conditions of Use

Shipping:

All shipments within the continental USA are shipped at the customer’s expense. Acme Scale Systems will use UPS for all shipments unless otherwise requested by the customer. Deliveries to multiple locations are considered separate shipments. Customer is responsible for all air freight charges, express charges or accessorial charges. All shipments are FOB Villa Park, IL unless otherwise noted on the product listing. No cancellations will be accepted within 72 hours of acknowledged shipping date. Drop shipments not available outside the continental USA. On ALL shipments going outside the continental USA Customers must make all freight arrangements and are responsible for all brokerage fees, customs fee and any other fees or regulations associated with the shipment of their order.

 

Returns:

All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase to receive a credit or refund. All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. A restocking fee will be assessed on a case by case basis with a minimum of 20%. A return authorization number must be printed on the outside of the box the product is returned in. The return authorization number is assigned by Acme Scale Systems. Returns will not be accepted without a return authorization number. You can obtain a return authorization number by calling 800-833-3810 or emailing sales@acmescalesystems.com. If an item is returned without a return authorization number it will be refused upon arrival and returned to the customer at their expense. Acme Scale Systems will not be responsible for any damages arising from shipping, normal wear and tear or manufacturers defects. Acme Scale Systems will inspect all returned merchandise upon arrival and authorize any credits, refunds or exchanges to the customer.

 

Conditions of Use:

  • All prices, terms and specifications are subject to change without prior notice.  Any price changes or product substitutions will be listed on your order confirmation at the time of the order.  Prices billed with be those in effect at the time the order is placed.
  • All prices are in U.S. Dollars.  All online sales are credit card sales within the continental USA.  If paying by credit card you must supply all credit card details at the time the order is placed.  Your card will be authorized for use at the time the order is placed.  If we are not able to authorize your credit card you will be notified either by email or phone.  Your credit card will be charged when we issue an invoice.  All credit card billing addresses must be in the continental USA. 
  • For orders outside of the continental USA please call 800-833-3810, wire transfers (including all transfer fees) will be accepted in advance of shipment.  All wire transfer fees will be the responsibility of the customer.  If we do not receive cleared funds within 5 working days from the date the order is place the order will be cancelled.
  • If credit terms are desired you can contact us at 800-833-3810, it can take 3-5 days for credit terms to be established, orders will be held until credit terms have been established.  Terms will be net 5 days for all new customers that have been given credit terms.  

 

Placing an Order:

  • Orders can be placed on line or at sales@acmescalesystems.com or by fax at 630-833-0044.
  • In the event of a typographical error or technological error causing a mistake in the price shown online, Acme Scale Systems reserves the right to correct the error and to charge you the correct price.  Before Acme Scale Systems charges you they will notify you of the mistake and offer you the opportunity to cancel your order and if money has been paid Acme Scale will offer you a full refund.  Orders that have been confirmed by Acme Scale Systems cannot be cancelled within 72 hours.  No price reductions will be given after confirmation has been made to the customer.
